The prestigious Global Prompt Engineering Championship, hailed as the world's largest AI prompt challenge, is set to grace the Emirates Towers and the iconic Museum of the Future from May 20th to 21st. Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, this event is organized by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF).
Managed by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence under the auspices of the DFF, the championship's final stage will witness the participation of 30 contestants spanning three primary categories: Art, Literature, and Coding. These talented individuals, carefully selected from a pool of entries originating from approximately 100 nations, will vie for a substantial prize pool totaling AED 1 million.
The panel of esteemed judges for the Global Prompt Engineering Championship has also been unveiled. In the art category, discerning evaluations will be undertaken by Benedetta Ghione from Art Dubai, Saeed Kharbash from Dubai Culture, and Mazen Abu Najm from Microsoft. Meanwhile, the literature category will be scrutinized by Mustafa Al Rawi from International Media Investments (IMI), Ahlam Al Bolooki from Emirates Literature Foundation, and Ramesh Chander from Google. In the coding category, the discerning judges include Ashraf Khan from IBM, Abdul Rahman Al-Mahmoud from the UAE Artificial Intelligence Office, and Ahmed El Sayed from Google.

Saeed Al Falasi, Director of Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, emphasized the championship's significance in nurturing emerging talents in generative AI. He highlighted the global platform it provides for showcasing skills and abilities, noting the widespread interest evidenced by thousands of entries spanning diverse sectors.
The competition will unfold over two days, with participants engaging in four rounds within each category on the inaugural day. Their performances will be meticulously evaluated based on criteria such as speed, quality, innovation, creativity, and content accuracy. The top three contenders from each category will advance to the final stage on the subsequent day, where they will vie for a share of the coveted AED 1 million prize fund.
