Dubai International Chamber made a significant impact in 2024 by attracting 207 companies to Dubai, helping both multinational companies (MNCs) and small businesses expand. The chamber helped boost foreign direct investment (FDI) and supported local companies in reaching new global markets. This is a big jump from 133 companies attracted in 2023, showing a 56% increase.
The 207 companies included 51 MNCs, marking a 55% rise from the 33 MNCs brought in the year before. The chamber also welcomed 156 SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), which is a 56% increase compared to 2023. Alongside this, the chamber helped 114 local businesses enter new international markets, up 48% from the previous year.
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the chairman of the Dubai International Chamber, said that these results show how the chamber is making Dubai more attractive to global investors. He added that the chamber’s international offices play a key role in showcasing Dubai’s business opportunities and helping both global companies and local businesses expand.

In 2024, the chamber opened two new offices in Kazakhstan and Colombia, bringing the total number of its international offices to 33. These offices are important in bringing in foreign investment and helping Dubai-based businesses find new trade opportunities in international markets.
As part of its efforts to increase global cooperation, the chamber hosted 182 delegations from around the world, with 500 participants. It also took part in 127 international events in 78 cities across 50 countries.
The chamber organized trade missions to countries like Indonesia, Vietnam, Senegal, Morocco, Serbia, Türkiye, Uganda, and Tanzania. During these missions, 2,205 business meetings were arranged between Dubai companies and businesses from these countries, marking a significant increase of 88% from 2023.
In addition, the chamber hosted the Dubai Business Forum in Beijing, China, and London, UK, attracting a total of 1,150 participants. These forums are part of its effort to bring foreign direct investment to Dubai.
The chamber also held business forums such as the UAE-China Business Forum, the Dubai-Chile Business Forum, and the Vietnam-UAE Business Forum, where leaders like China’s Premier Li Qiang, Chile’s President Gabriel Boric Font, and Vietnam’s Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính participated.
These efforts are helping Dubai grow as a leading global business hub and strengthen its position in international trade.
