The Dubai Future Forum 2024 is the biggest meeting in the world for people who think about the future. It brings together smart thinkers, experts, and groups from around 100 countries. This event will have over 70 talks, group discussions, and workshops. These will talk about important problems that affect people, communities, and the Earth. For the first time, the event will also have fun activities across Dubai so that more people can join and share their ideas about the future.
This event is planned by the Dubai Future Foundation and will happen at the Museum of the Future. It is supported by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. Over 150 speakers and 2,500 experts from all over the world will come. Leaders from 100 big groups will also take part.
What Happens on Day 1?
The first day will have speeches, group talks, and exciting activities. A special session called From Deep Space to Deep Ocean will feature Sarah Sabry, the first Arab woman astronaut; Prof. Oussama Khatib, who made a deep-sea robot; and Suaad Al Harthi, an explorer with National Geographic.
Another session,"Concepts of Time," will explore how our understanding of time shapes the future. Speakers include Jonathon Keats, a thinker, and Anne Beate Hovind, who leads a big library project for the future.

Dr. Parag Khanna will present "Where is Humanity Going?" and explore the future paths humanity might take. Another big talk, "Which Way to the Future?" will include ideas from HE Khalfan Juma Belhoul and Amy Webb, who both work on planning for the future.

Day 1 will have fun activities like "Play-Full Futures," which shows how people can help plan the future. There will also be workshops about:

What Happens on Day 2?
Day 2 will start with a talk called "Experiences of the Future." It will include speakers like Liam Young, who makes films and designs buildings. UNICEF will also share its "State of the World’s Children Report 2024," which talks about how we can help kids in the future.
Another talk, "The Future of Humanity in Time and Space," will discuss what people might do in space and on Earth. This talk will include HE Omran Sharaf, a UAE space leader, and Michael Madsen, a filmmaker.
Other workshops will teach how to make better decisions and plan for the future. Companies like Ford and L'Oréal will also share their ideas.
Activities Around Dubai
This year, the event will also have activities outside the main venue. From November 18 to 21, there will be movie screenings at Cinema Akil and a creative workshop called "Nomadic Futures" at The Courtyard in Al Qouz. These activities will help people imagine new and exciting futures.
Amazing Projects
The forum will also show 100 amazing projects as part of the "Prototypes for Humanity" program. This is led by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The goal is to show how new ideas can solve problems and Create a brighter future for everyone.
