Etihad Airways is celebrating the success of its partnership with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by moving its logo to a special spot on the CSK jersey. The airline has upgraded its logo to the front-of-shirt position, a significant step after being an Associate Sponsor in the 2024 season, where the logo was placed on the back of the jersey.

Arik De, the Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, shared how proud the airline is of its partnership with CSK. He explained, “Our sponsorship of the Chennai Super Kings has given us a wonderful chance to connect with CSK fans and cricket lovers worldwide. In just one year, we’ve had exciting moments, like branding an aircraft with the CSK colors and logo. We’re looking forward to more fun as the season progresses."
He added, “By moving our logo to the front of the jersey, we’re showing even more support for CSK and its fans. We also have a deep love for India, where we fly 181 times a week to 11 cities, including 21 weekly flights to Chennai.”
KS Viswanathan, CEO of Chennai Super Kings, also expressed excitement about this new step in the partnership. He said, “We’re thrilled to see Etihad Airways’ logo on the front of our jersey. Etihad’s support has been a big part of our success, and we’re ready to take our collaboration even further. The Etihad-branded CSK aircraft made a lot of noise among cricket fans, and we’re looking forward to bringing more exciting moments for our fans.”
As the partnership grows, Etihad Airways is set to take its involvement with CSK to the next level in the 2025 season. The airline’s logo will be front and center on the yellow CSK jersey, making it a more visible symbol of their shared commitment. Fans can look out for the new 2025 CSK jersey with the Etihad logo soon.
In 2025, CSK fans will be able to enjoy more exciting activities during matches in Chennai. One highlight will be the chance to join the Etihad Guest loyalty program, where fans can earn Guest Miles that can be redeemed for flights. Etihad will also hand out “whistles with wings,” small toys shaped like airplanes, to keep fans engaged and excited. Plus, there will be plenty of fun content featuring CSK players on Etihad’s social media platforms.
With the Etihad logo prominently displayed on the front of the players' jerseys, millions of fans around the world will see the brand both in the stadium and on television broadcasts. This sponsorship also shows Etihad’s commitment to the Indian market, where the airline operates flights to 11 cities, connecting them to its home in Abu Dhabi. Passengers can travel further to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North America, and enjoy a complimentary two-night hotel stay in Abu Dhabi as part of the Abu Dhabi Stopover program.
