Premier League champions Manchester City have reached an agreement to transfer defender Joao Cancelo to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal for £21.2 million (AED 102 million).

Cancelo, who is 30 years old, has been with Manchester City for five years. During his tenure, he has had stints on loan at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, a result of a notable dispute with City’s manager, Pep Guardiola. This season, Cancelo has yet to make an appearance in any of Manchester City's matches, underscoring his diminishing role within the team.
The transfer to Al-Hilal represents a new chapter for Cancelo, as he continues his career in the Saudi Pro League following a period of limited involvement with Manchester City.
