The Integrated Transport Centre, known as Abu Dhabi Mobility, under the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), has been recognized with the prestigious Seoul Smart City Prize in the Tech-InnovaCity category. This accolade was awarded for its groundbreaking Modelling and Analytic Framework, STEAM+.
This advanced multimodal tool harnesses the power of big data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to assess current mobility network conditions and analyze people’s movement behaviors. Additionally, it forecasts future transportation system scenarios, aiding in informed decision-making processes.
The Seoul Smart City Prize celebrates cities and projects that significantly contribute to shaping the future of urban environments globally. The winners were announced during the Seoul Smart City Prize ceremony held in October, part of the Smart Life Week in Seoul. This event featured exhibitions and forums that showcased Seoul's smart city experiences and provided a platform for other cities and international companies to share their innovative approaches to smart city development while discussing future technology trends.
