Kim Kardashian’s 2024 Met Gala look caused quite a stir when people noticed her waist seemed impossibly tiny. Many wondered if she had undergone weight loss treatments, like Ozempic, to achieve the look. Now, Kim is sharing the truth about what happened to her body after wearing the super-tight corset dress to fashion's biggest event.

Kim wore a custom-designed Margiela by John Galliano outfit to the Met Gala last year. The dress was a sparkling greyish-silver creation with an extremely tight corset that made people worried about how she could breathe in such restrictive clothing.
In a new episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kim opened up about how she dealt with the discomfort of the corset and what happened to her body after she took it off. Kim revealed that she felt trapped in the dress because she is claustrophobic, saying, "I’ve never felt this way before, where I feel like I can’t breathe. I can handle it for so long, but it’s like, I have to pee, I can’t breathe… I was dying."
In a clip shown on the show, Kim was in the limo on her way to the Gala, telling her team, "I’m gonna throw up. I’ve never been more uncomfortable."
Once she was able to remove the corset, the pain was clear. Kim shared with her team, "I’ve never been in this much pain before." You could also see the marks the corset left on her back. Despite all of this, when a producer asked Kim if the pain was "worth it," she answered, "Abso-fucking-lutely. Yes! That’s just who I am. If you look good, it was all worth it."
Kim even told her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, and designer, John Galliano, that she wasn’t as uncomfortable as she appeared. She called it a "performance piece" and added, "God bless the Bridgerton cast that has to dress like this every single day. That would be so difficult."
So, while Kim's Met Gala look was certainly eye-catching, she admitted that the experience wasn't as glamorous behind the scenes. But, for Kim, it was all worth it for the stunning fashion moment.
